For more than 15 years, Hemani Mehmi Indian Restaurant has been a Liverpool landmark for authentic, full-flavoured Indian cooking. Locals keep coming back for our hot and spicy Aloo Paneer, charcoal-kissed Tandoori Chicken and slow-simmered Lamb Korma — dishes made the same way our family has cooked them for generations. Our house specialty is the tandoor — a traditional clay oven that gives our breads, kebabs and tikkas their signature smokiness. Every curry is prepared fresh once you order, and you can dial the spice up or down to suit you. Feeling adventurous? Ask for it extra spicy and a glass of cold lassi on the side.
